Enhance your mind-body wellbeing through ‘Mindfulness and Pilates’ workshops with Lydia & Michelle
Both mindfulness and Pilates have been proven to help us unwind and enhance our mind-body wellbeing. This is why myself and Michelle, a mindfulness practitioner and therapeutic coach from Mind for Wellbeing have combined forces to offer a 2.5 hour workshop. The workshops offer you some time out of your busy life and a chance to experience Pilates and mindfulness together, in a new and refreshing way. If you suffer from stress, tension or anxiety or perhaps would benefit from some relaxation time - this introductory workshop is for you.
If you are unsure exactly what mindfulness is, the best way is to simply come and experience it for yourself as it is hard to describe in words. To give you an idea...

According to MindBodyGreen, Mindfulness has been proven to help low moods as it stimulates areas of the brain to heighten feelings of positivity and happiness. When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance performance, gain insight and awareness through observing our own mind, and increase our attention to others’ well-being. Mindfulness meditation gives us a time in our lives when we can suspend judgment and unleash our natural curiosity about the workings of the mind, approaching our experience with warmth and kindness—to ourselves and others.
Suitable for all abilities, this workshop shows you how to use mindfulness to enrich your Pilates experience, while in turn Pilates provides the perfect opportunity to practice mindfulness in a fun and refreshing way.
