(Hatha + Flow + Restore)

Most forms of yoga in the West can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha simply refers to the practice of physical yoga postures.


This is a mixed ability Hatha based class with some optional Vinyasa flow inspired sequencing. ‘Vinyasa’ means put together in a special way.


Hatha yoga practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit to bring about a feeling of physical strength and balance. Classes will also use pranayama (breath practice) to bring about a feeling of emotional balance and the meditation and mindfulness element of the class will draw upon your mental and spiritual focus.


This class encourages students to cultivate awareness of their own body to move through postures in the best way their body knows how. You do not have to be flexible to start a yoga practice but flexibility and strength are natural side-effects of practicing yoga.
